Where is located Agios Fokas Beach?

Agios Fokas Beach is located on the eastern side of the island, at a close distance (6 km) to Paroikia, the capital and main port of the island. Its location is on the northern side of Paroikia Bay, overlooking the south. It is also close to many other beaches, such as Krios, Marcello, and Livadia.

How to get to Agios Fokas Beach in Paros?

Agios Fokas is a secluded bay, so there is no public transportation that goes there. You can’t go on foot from Paroikia, as the distance is very long (about 1 hour walk). On foot, you can go from Krios Beach or Marcello Beach (around 10 minutes’ walk). To these beaches, you can go by public bus from Paroikia. But remember that during the high season (July and August), public transportation gets overcrowded.

Thus, the easiest way to get to Agios Fokas is by your car. Renting a car in Paros is affordable and allows you to discover the island at your own pace, visit many beaches and villages, and explore the untouched side of the island.

Alternatively, you can visit the beach early in the morning. You can buy water, coffee, and snacks from the beach bar in Krios, which is nearby.

The beach is ideal for relaxing, swimming, and sunbathing. You can also enjoy water sports, but only if you have your equipment, as there are no water sports facilities.

We also recommend you visit the church of Agios Fokas, which imposes the scenery. It is a white Cycladic church with blue doom and minimal architecture, which is typical of Paros’ tradition.
