What are the ruins of Asklepieion in Paros?
An Asklepion is a temple devoted to Asclepius, the deity of medicine and healing. Around 300 BC, the worship of Asclepius began to gain popularity in ancient Greece. Many sick and injured people flocked to these temples in search of a cure for their ailments.
